You are a charismatic and self-motivated leader and mentor with a deep wealth of knowledge and experience in the sport of hockey who has a proven track record of client acquisition and business development.
About you
As a Mentor and Advisor with Hockey Horizons, you will be involved with the day-to-day developments of your client base of players and their families in guiding them through the steps needed to advance in the game. You will draw from your experiences and connections in hockey to open opportunities for the client base you develop.
What you'll do
You will be the lead of your team that consists of fitness, mental performance, nutrition and academic experts, who will assist you in developing each client to their maximum potential.

Client acquisition and management: You will build your client pool from referrals, meetings and game sightings and provide them with advice on how best to elevate their abilities for advancement in the games.

You will build your network of coaches, scouts and recruiters to grow the company list of positive relationships to assist our clients.
​
You will be a resource for your clients to provide them with advice via email, telephone, text and other communication platforms.
​
Part of the position requires you to periodically blog about an aspect of the game that may be beneficial to our site followers.

This position requires at least 5+ years coaching, recruiting or playing at the junior level or higher. Former college players and either current or former coaches at the junior level or higher are preferred. Advisors must be able to navigate the company website and have a base knowledge of communication skills.
