Players today need a road map and good hockey professionals are obligated to provide that."
Peter joins Hockey Horizons as one of the most experienced people in the field in North America.
After a lengthy playing career, Peter began his coaching career in the 1970's and by 1980, he owned his first Jr. A team in the Steinbach Hawks of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. Over the next 30 years, he has coached, owned and managed numerous junior teams at virtually every level.

Peter may be most known as a the founder and owner of Pro Sport Marketing Group, where he served his company as a professional hockey player and coach agent, representing numerous NHL players for decades.

Peter has also spent years scouting players for numerous in the WHL, MJHL NJHL, MMJHL and MJCHL.
​
Tomko founded Manitoba's first hockey magazine, The Hockey Hawk Magazine, which can boast regular contributors like Wayne Fleming, Don Cherry and Dave King.

Currently, Peter owns the East St. Paul Gators (MJCHL) and scouts players and teams throughout Western Canada and Northwestern Ontario.

Peter has a strong passion to help players who need help achieving their hockey goal and a strong believer in education. Peter can recognize seeing talent in players who may be late developers and need guidance.
